Sandlot Complex Bracket And Tournament Guidlines

Managers, please Make sure you have the following items in place before your arrival at the tournament:

Managers,

Team check-in is mandatory with tournament director (30-45 minutes prior to first game). All age groups will check in at the Designated area. You MUST check-in prior to playing your first game. We will need a copy of an updated 2007 USSSA team roster/registration and copies of birth certificates for each player.
You MUST BRING your printed roster from the USSSA Website.
Make sure your printed roster includes the Team Registration Number. Players do not need to be present at check-in. Teams not registered with USSSA will need to do so online at Click Here to register with USSSA. Teams will NOT be able to register at the tournament as in the past and all players added or deleted must be done online prior to check-in. Players may NOT be penciled in on your rosters. Players will not play if a birth certificate is not available for verification at check-in.

Age cut off for 9U-14U divisions is May 1st, 2008 (e.g., 12U player can not turn 13 prior to May 1st, 2008). Players may play up, but not down in age.

Check the website daily for schedule revisions. Sandlot Complex reserves the right to modify the brackets should scheduling conflicts arise. The bracket schedule displayed at check-in supersedes all other revisions. Recheck brackets online the night before tournament starts.

Please have your team ready to play up to 30 minutes prior to the posted game time in case of a run rule in a prior game. This will help us to stay on schedule.

No pets allowed. The park attendants will strictly enforce this. Gates will open at 7am daily.

A limited number of Tournament T-Shirts, Hats will be available which can be purchased by cash or check.

Team & Individual Awards will be given out to the top two teams in each age group for all divisions. Additionally, the top four Teams in each division also qualify for a USSSA World Series.

Teams will be directed to a designated awards presentation area.

It is your team’s responsibility to claim their awards at the tournament. Awards will not be mailed unless the team pays for shipping and handling fees in advance.

Finally, I would like to thank the players, parents and coaches for choosing to play in this tournament. I realize there are many tournaments from which to choose. I want to make this tournament an enjoyable experience for everyone, especially the players. Please feel free to call upon the tournament staff or myself to service you in any way.
